Message The fact that there was a 3 way phone call makes me think that the dealership knows that you have a valid claim.

Nissan USA most likely won't foot the bill for your new engine. The dealership is going to do everything possible not to admit their fault.

If you do have to provide them with any documentation, only give them copies of the original.

Make note of who worked on your car, what days, etc.

Since Nissan USA is already involved, I would make an effort to speak with them more, especially when the dealership yelled at them and called your dad a theif.

Most likely the dealership knows that you have a case and are hoping you won't pursue this action.

I really would refrain from brining your car to Nissan dealerships and either finding a trusted Z mechanic or do it yourself.

But, if you can get a new engine and turbos out of this, you should definitely pursue.

I doubt the dealership will do anything for you until you bring a legal action. Once they know you are serious, you have a better chance of getting some satisfaction.

Best of luck,
